Operator API v1 · revision 1.1 · 30 October 2026 · What changed

Every endpoint of the Operator API with its parameters, request bodies, answers and error codes, read from the same OpenAPI description you can download here. To call one, press Authorize, paste your key (pko_…), then Execute.

Calls made here are real. They go to https://proofkit.org/api/v1/operator with your key, exactly like calls from your script. POST /nodes registers a node and locks its stake from your balance, DELETE /nodes/{id} deletes one and refunds its stake, POST /nodes/{id}/restart drops every connection through the node, and every call counts against your rate limit. No key can move money: this API reads the balance and the payouts, and a claim is made on the Wallet page.

Your key stays in this tab's memory: it is not saved, and reloading the page forgets it. A key with the scope read can send the reading calls; changes need manage. No key yet? Make one on the Agents page of your dashboard, or create an operator account first. An AI assistant needs no key: it signs in to the MCP server (Connect an agent). Anything else: talk to us.

Calls sent from this page always reach the live API, which answers by the newest revision. Each revision's document:
