What the escrow contract enforces

Deposits are credited to the wallet that sent them.

Operators are paid 80% of the charges they claim; 20% is the platform fee.

Platform fees can be withdrawn only up to what was collected, at most 100 TON a day.

Withdrawals of your unused balance return to your wallet, co-signed by ProofKit.

After 30 days of pause you can withdraw your deposit without anyone's signature.

How paying with TON works

Create an account

Sign up with email, or with Telegram through the ProofKit bot or its Mini App. You need a wallet only when you add money.

Deposit TON

In the web dashboard or the Mini App, connect a TonConnect wallet such as Tonkeeper and send a deposit. Or, from the wallet linked to your account, send TON to the escrow address with the text comment deposit; the dashboard shows a QR code that fills in both.

Use the VPN

Pick an exit country or a node. Its price per GB is fixed into your session when you connect, and the session is charged as your traffic is reported. When your balance reaches zero the session closes; top up and connect again.

Withdraw the rest

Withdraw your unused balance from the dashboard at any time, from 0.05 TON. ProofKit co-signs the withdrawal automatically and the contract sends the TON back to the wallet linked to your account.

Two deposit rules

A plain transfer without the comment is kept by the contract for no one and is not credited automatically. Contact support with the transaction and the contract owner can send it back. The contract also rejects deposits under 0.05 TON. The TON network fees for your deposits and withdrawals are paid by your wallet.

Non-custodial, and where that stops

Your deposit sits in the contract under your wallet's address, not in a ProofKit wallet, and the contract moves it only in the ways listed above.

Two things still depend on ProofKit. Everyday withdrawals need the coordinator's co-signature, and operators are paid for the traffic the coordinator measured and signed for. The emergency withdrawal opens only once the contract has been paused for 30 days in a row; pausing is an owner action meant for a lost or compromised signing key. The owner can also upgrade the contract's code, after the 48-hour timelock.

Prices

Every node sets its own price per GB, and the marketplace shows it with the 20% network fee included. A 2-hop route costs both nodes' prices plus the fee. There is no monthly plan; see how pay-per-GB billing works and today's prices in the marketplace.

Operators are paid in TON too

Node operators stake 1 TON per node and claim their earnings from the same contract. On a direct session an operator receives 80% of what the user was charged. The operator guide covers the stake, prices and payouts.

TON payment questions

Do I need a TON wallet?

Only to add or withdraw money. You can create an account with email or Telegram first; you need TON in a wallet to make a deposit.

Which wallets work?

Any wallet that supports TonConnect, such as Tonkeeper, can deposit in one step from the dashboard. Any TON wallet can send a manual deposit, as long as it is the wallet linked to your account and the transfer carries the comment deposit.

I sent TON without the comment. Is it lost?

No, but it is not credited automatically, because the contract keeps it for no depositor. Contact support with the transaction and the contract owner can send it back.

Can I withdraw at any time?

Yes, your unused balance, from 0.05 TON. ProofKit co-signs automatically and the TON goes back to the wallet linked to your account.

Is ProofKit custodial?

No. Deposits are held by a Tact contract on TON under your wallet's address. Everyday withdrawals are co-signed by ProofKit; if the contract is ever paused for 30 days in a row, you can withdraw your deposit without anyone's signature.

Can an operator take more than I used?

Operators are paid through claims that ProofKit's coordinator signs for the traffic it recorded, and nodes are checked by test connections, byte cross-checks and anomaly detection. A claim cannot take more than your deposit, and each signed claim works only once.
