A browser test of the connection between your device and ProofKit's servers: latency, jitter, download and upload. Run it with your VPN on to measure your ProofKit route, or with it off to get a baseline to compare against.
The page times a short series of pings, then downloads and uploads test data between your browser and proofkit.org, and reports latency, jitter, download and upload speed.
The test traffic takes whatever path your device uses at that moment. With a ProofKit route active, the result reflects that route; with the VPN off, it measures your plain connection.
Signed in with an active session, the page also names the route under test (its entry and exit nodes and the transport) and shows a health snapshot of it from ProofKit's own monitoring: its Reality disguise, recent probe results through the route, and whether its nodes are online. That snapshot is measured from ProofKit's side, not from inside your network.
Signed-in results are saved, so you can compare runs over the day.

The transport matters. Hysteria2 is often fastest on lossy mobile networks but needs UDP; Reality and XHTTP ride ordinary TCP; olcRTC travels inside a video call and has video-call bandwidth. If a route is slow, try another transport in your app or another exit country in the marketplace.
