Choosing a transport
Reality is the default and works on most networks; Hysteria2 is fastest on lossy links but needs UDP; XHTTP looks like ordinary web requests; olcRTC carries traffic inside a video call. Happ, Hiddify, V2RayNG and Streisand run Reality and Hysteria2 from one subscription link; XHTTP needs an Xray-core app such as Happ or V2RayNG, and olcRTC an olcRTC-capable client.
Deposits, billing and withdrawals
Deposits go into a non-custodial escrow contract on TON: through TonConnect in the dashboard, or as a manual transfer from the wallet linked to your account with the comment deposit (a transfer without it is not credited automatically). You are billed per GB as traffic flows and can withdraw what you don't use at any time; withdrawals are co-signed automatically.
Running a node
The network is open to any operator: a one-command Docker install, exit and entry nodes, a 1 TON stake per node, your own price, private invite-only nodes, WARP and Torrent Guard, and payouts to your TON wallet. The operator guide gives the overview.
How the network checks nodes
Probes through each node, signed traffic checkpoints, entry-versus-exit byte comparison and staking: what each check catches. The Proofs page shows the checkpoints themselves.
Privacy and your account
What ProofKit and the nodes keep, and what they don't; what each node of a 2-hop route can see; and a second sign-in factor for the account itself.
